Good questions
Who can take part?
Anyone 18 or older who lives in India can vote or nominate, and nominees must be 18+ and based in India too. Full details are in the Official Rules.
Why do I need to confirm my email?
So every vote comes from a real person. Each email address can vote once, and the code proves you own it. We don’t add you to any list unless you tick the newsletter box.
Can I vote for more than one creator?
Yes. Each email can vote once for each creator, so you can back as many creators as you like. Once you’ve confirmed your email, you can keep voting for 30 minutes without another code. Votes can’t be changed or taken back.
Can I vote with more than one email?
One person, one vote per creator. We remove votes from throwaway inboxes, email aliases and other patterns that point to the same person voting many times, and creators who encourage it can be disqualified.
Does a nomination count as a vote?
Yes. When a nomination is approved, it counts as one vote for that creator from the email that nominated them. You can still vote for other creators, once each.
Can I nominate myself?
Yes. Self-nominations go through the same checks as everyone else’s, and once you’re approved your nomination counts as one vote for you.
Why isn’t my nomination on the ballot yet?
Every nomination is reviewed by hand. We check the profiles, follower counts and 2026 activity, usually within 48 hours. If they don’t meet the rules, they won’t be added.
Someone I nominated is already listed. What now?
Great, they only need to be nominated once. Vote for them and share their card so others do too.
What do the winners get?
The 3 creators with the most verified votes win Amazon gift vouchers: ₹10,000 for 1st place, ₹5,000 for 2nd and ₹3,000 for 3rd. The winner also gets the SocialJJ Creator of the Year title. The vouchers are Amazon.in vouchers, emailed to the winning creators on the day the results are announced.
How is the winner decided?
The creator with the most verified votes when voting closes wins. Before announcing, we remove votes from throwaway inboxes, email aliases and automated sign-ups. 2nd and 3rd place are decided the same way. If two creators finish level, the one who reached that number of votes first takes the higher place. The full vote count for every nominee is published with the winner.
Why are the vote counts hidden?
Counts go dark for the final 48 hours of voting and stay hidden while we check the votes, so the last days aren’t just a pile-on behind whoever is leading. Every vote still counts, and all the numbers are published with the winner.
Will I be added to a mailing list?
Only if you tick the newsletter box. Your email is used to confirm your vote and stop duplicate votes, and nothing else.
